Department of Mathematics

      The department established in the year 1992 offers a 2 year M.Sc (Mathematics) course.M.Sc(Applied Mathematics) has been introduced in the year 2017.It has qualified and experienced teaching staff. The faculty is encouraged to attend international and national seminars regularly.ICT mode of teaching and learning process is used.

      There are 3 national journals and a departmental library with 100 books exclusively for staff. The department organizes guest lectures on a regular basis by eminent academicians like Prof.K Satya Naryana , Dr. Dharmaiah, Dr. Kannan, Dr. Goverdhan, Dr. Tajuddin from the Mathematics Department, Osmania University), Prof. T.V.K. Iyengar (REC, Warangal) and Prof.. Manoj Kumar (CMR engineering college).

      The collaboration with “CSC Technologies” provides developing soft skills and reasoning skills. Group discussions, class room seminars, research oriented studies are also taken up. The students and the faculty contributed books, pens & other stationary materials to the students of ZPPS Rajendra Nagar. The students participate in various inter college competitions like paper presentation, essay writing, elocution, singing, outdoor and indoor games.

      The academic performance of the students has been consistently outstanding.The alumni are working in various institutions like Vasavi engineering college, Aurora engineering college, TKR engineering College,Techno schools and in government sector.
